Deep Cleaning Gets Your Home Back in Shape

Dirt Devils Cleaning Co. recommends deep cleaning as a precursor to getting on a regular maintenance schedule, or simply to get your home in shape so that you can maintain it yourself. If you do not use a cleaning service on a regular basis and prefer to maintain your own home, we suggest that you have a professional deep cleaning completed at least once every 6 months to ensure that the cleanliness of your home is maintained at a high level.

Please Note: We do not pull out appliances; we are happy to clean under or behind the appliances provided you move them out prior to our arrival. Also we do not clean blinds, under staircases, crawl spaces or in unfinished basements/concrete areas.  

 

Kitchens

Our deep cleaning checklist for kitchens includes:

• Cupboards/drawers wiped down
• Fridge, stove, dishwasher fronts wiped down
• Coffee maker, toaster oven, canisters, etc. wiped down
• Microwave cleaned inside and out
• Countertops/backsplash cleaned
• Objects on countertops moved and cleaned under/behind
• Top of oven/hood fan cleaned
• All accessible light switches/fixtures/windows/sills cleaned
• Sinks and faucets cleaned and disinfected
• Top of fridge wiped off if uncluttered and accessible
• Patio glass doors cleaned inside if applicable
• Table/breakfast bar cleaned
• Stove top/controls cleaned and disinfected
• Inside of refrigerator: items removed, full cleaning
• Inside of oven: full cleaning, racks removed and sprayed
• Floors and all baseboards washed/walls spot cleaned

 

Living/Family/Dining Rooms

Our deep cleaning checklist for living/family/dining rooms includes:

• Coffee/end tables cleaned
• Table lamps wiped/dusted
• Side tables/knickknack items removed/dusted
• Shelves - items removed (within reason) and dusted
• Dining room table and chairs cleaned
• Windowsills/light switches/fixtures cleaned or dusted
• Stereos/speakers/stands wiped or dusted
• Mirrors/glass/patio doors cleaned as applicable
• Stairs vacuumed, floors washed and/or both
• All throw rugs shaken outside and/or vacuumed
• Cobwebs removed from ceiling corners or fixtures
• Picture tops/glass dusted as needed or requested

 

Entrances/Hallways/Stairs

• Shoes/boots/rugs removed to outside
• Floors swept or vacuumed
• Stairs vacuumed/swept and or washed
• Hallways vacuumed/cobwebs removed
• Shelves/picture tops dusted
• Mirrors/glass cleaned
• Windowsills/light switches cleaned
• Floors washed

 

Bedrooms

Our deep cleaning checklist for bedrooms includes:

• Dressers/night stand tops cleaned and/or dusted
• Mirrors/light fixtures, glass cleaned if applicable
• Lamps dusted/walls spot cleaned as applicable
• Shelves dusted if applicable
• Floors/throw rugs vacuumed
• VCRs/DVD players wiped and/or dusted
• Windowsills/light switches cleaned
• Any cobwebs in corners removed
• All accessible baseboards and baseboard heaters wiped

 

Bathrooms/En Suites

• Sinks/faucets and countertops cleaned and disinfected
• Bathtub and tiles cleaned and disinfected
• Showers cleaned and disinfected
• Shower glass cleaned inside and out
• Mirrors cleaned
• Toilet bowls/seats/lids/base cleaned and disinfected
• Soap dishes/dispenser washed out, shelves wiped down
• Floors swept and washed, any throw rugs vacuumed or shaken
